Australian Armenians to hold protest action in front of Turkey’s Consulate

SYDNEY, APRIL 20, ARMENPRESS: The Australian Committee, coordinating the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, stated that on April 24 a march and protest action will be held in front of the Turkish Consulate in New South Wales.

Armenpress reports, citingArmenia.au.comthat with the protest action the Australian Armenians will demand Turkey to face own history and recognize the genocide of 1,5 million Armenians, hundreds of thousands of Assyrians and Greeks in the last years of the Ottoman Turkey.

The action will launch at 15:00 Australia time.
