PACE President pays tribute to Armenian Genocide victims

YEREVAN, 14 APRIL, ARMENPRESS: The President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Anne Brasseur paid tribute to the innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide in the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial. Armenpress was informed by the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute that the European official was accompanied by the Vice President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Hermine Naghdalyan.

The President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe laid a wreath at the Memorial, commemorating the Great Genocide victims. Then the delegation laid flowers at the Eternal Flame, commemorating the innocent victims of the Genocide with a minute of silence.

At the end of the meeting the Deputy Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Lusine Abrahamyan presented one of the Museum-Institute’s publications to Anne Brasseur.
