YEREVAN, 6 APRIL, ARMENPRESS. On 7-8 April, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Edward Nalbandyan will be on an official visit to Moscow where he will lead negotiations with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, as “Armenpress” reports, citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
During the April 8 negotiations, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the two countries “will discuss urgent issues on bilateral cooperation, the international agenda and coordination of foreign policies, including within the United Nations, the OSCE, the BSEC and within the framework of other multilateral forums”. The sides will also exchange views on the regulation of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation mention that Moscow and Yerevan “have established effective partnership over the major global and regional issues” and that the positions on most issues “are close or coincide”.
