Argentinean citizen tried to sell drugs in Yerevan

YEREVAN, MARCH 26, ARMENPRESS: The Argentinean citizen Alejandro Joel Torres was charged with the 2ndparagraph of Article 215 and the 3rdpart of the 2ndparagraph of Article 266 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia. Armenpress got informed about it from the Judicial Information System.

Alejandro Joel Torres got a preliminary agreement with the Bolivia-based Miranda, according to which a large amount of drugs was to be illegally transferred to Armenia and handed over a person in Yerevan to be sold, and for these services he would get USD8,000 in Bolivia.

Torres has been arrested.
