President considers Armenia to be best option for Arab countries to enter EEU market

YEREVAN, MARCH 18, ARMENPRESS: The President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan considers the deepening of the economic relations with the Arab countries to be very important. He stated about it at the meeting with the journalists during the 5th media forum “At the Foot of Mount Ararat”.

“We are working intensively with the Arab countries and two days ago the Prime Minister of Armenia returned from Kuwait and Egypt. Before that the representatives from the United Arab Emirates were in Armenia. We will reach considerable results in the nearest future via activation of the interstate commissions. It is of great importance for us”, - stated the President, Armenpress reports.

According to him, with the membership in the Eurasian Economic Union, Armenia has considerably expanded its market, which may be attractive for the Arab countries.“Armenia can easily be a place, where goods can be produced and supplied to other EEU member countries”, - stressed Serzh Sargsyan.
