Trees planted in Tehran on 100th anniversary of Armenian Genocide

YEREVAN, 10 MARCH, ARMENPRESS: The Armenian Genocide 100th Anniversary Committee of the Diocese of Tehran has announced pan-community tree planting on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Armenian Genocide.

“Alik” newspaper informs “Armenpress” that the martyrs’ memorial alley will have its unique place in the corner of the "Sohanak" beautiful garden.

During tree planting 100 trees were planted, which symbolize the 100 year of Armenian Genocide. Haghghani, the deputy director of the Department of Natural Resources of Tehran, also attended the event. He highly appreciated the idea of the event and stated that a plaque could be posted in the alley, which will remind that the park is dedicated to the memory of the Armenian victims.
