Film "The Cut" shown in several cities across Kazakhstan

YEREVAN, 20 FEBRUARY, ARMENPRESS. Germany-based Turkish filmmaker, winner of an award at the Venice International Film Festival Fatih Akın’s film "The Cut", which is devoted to the Armenian Genocide, was shown in Astana, Kazakhstan on February 19. As the Department of Press, Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia reports to “Armenpress”, among the several attendees was Armenia’s Ambassador to Kazakhstan Ara Sahakyan.
The film was also shown in Almaty, Atirau, Pavlodar, Petropavlovsk, Uralsk and Ust Kamenogorsk. Moreover, the film was shown at 10 movie theaters in Almaty.
