Armenian-Turkish relations must continue: Victoria Nuland

YEREVAN, 18 FEBRUARY, ARMENPRESS. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs at the U.S. Department of State Victoria Nuland believes the Armenian-Turkish relations must continue and that Armenia has not stepped out of the process of normalization of relations. As “Armenpress” reports, during a press conference, Nuland stressed the fact that the U.S. attaches importance to seeing Armenia be on good terms with all of its neighbors.

“We’re certain that the normalization of relations between Turkey and Armenia are still important and are still on the agenda for both countries. We will foster that. Armenia hasn’t stepped out of the process, and the continuation of the process is important for us,”the Assistant Secretary of State said.

Touching upon her visit to Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex, Nuland said it was a touching moment and a personal visit.
