Sharmazanov: “It would be political wretchedness to put Armenian-Russian relations at risk because of a wretch”

The political authorities of the Republic of Armenia are going to do everything possible to make sure the society is informed about the whole trial for Valery Permyakov, who is charged with the murder in Gyumri. This is whatDeputy Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, press speaker of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Eduard Sharmazanovmentioned during a press conference following the session of the RPA Executive Body.“The tragedy that took place in Gyumri is in the legal sphere, and law-enforcement authorities must give the answers to all questions. As for us, we’ll do everything we can to make sure the society is informed about the whole trial,”Sharmazanov assured, as “Armenpress” reports.

Sharmazanov emphasized that he wasn’t charmed by the behavior of some of his colleagues who are making attempts to politicize the issue that is in the legal sphere.“I don’t like giving lessons, but I must ask everyone not to speculate. There is one group of people who only talk about removing the Russian military base from Armenia, and there is another group of people who say the government is to blame, regardless of everything,”he said.
