Armenia’s Prosecutor General to apply to Russian counterpart in case of having necessary grounds

YEREVAN, JANUARY 22, ARMENPRESS: The Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia Gevorg Kostanyan reconfirmed that he will apply to the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation on the case of transferring the murderer of Gyumri family Valery Permyakov to the Armenian law enforcement bodies. At the National Assembly, during the parliamentary hearings on “legal procedure of the tragic events, occurred in Gyumri on January 12”, answering the question of the deputy of the Rule of Law Party faction Hovhannes Margaryan, when Kostanyan will apply to the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation, Armenia’s Prosecutor answered that he had already told that he will apply to his Russian counterpart, as it is his duty.

“I will by all means apply to the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation, when there are all the necessary grounds for that”, - said Gevorg Kostanyan, Armenpress reports.
