Russian Investigative Committee Chairman arrives in Yerevan

YEREVAN, 19 JANUARY, ARMENPRESS. Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin has arrived in Yerevan to coordinate the investigation into Russian soldier Valery Permyakov’s case, as “Armenpress” reports, according to RIA Novosti.“Alexander Bastrykin is in Yerevan to coordinate the activities of military investigators for the case instigated against Russian soldier Valery Permyakov,”as stated in the message released by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

“Bastrykin has been assigned to work closely with Armenia’s law-enforcement authorities to investigate the circumstances behind the crime as objectively and as completely as possible. There is no doubt that the one to blame for the heavy crimes will get the punishment that he deserves, to the full extent of the law,”official representative of the Russian Investigative Committee Alexey Markin said.
