Candle-lighting continues near Armenian Embassy in Russia

MOSCOW, 14 JANUARY, ARMENPRESS. The candle-lighting that began today at 14:00 in front of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in the Russian Federation continues. In an interview with “Armenpress”,initiator Anna Mazmanyan of Moscowsaid small groups of Armenians of Moscow are coming and lighting candles in front of the embassy.

“Since we’re far away from the homeland, this is the least we can do to express our sorrow and our protest against the crime. The Armenians of Moscow are mourning the deaths of the Avetisyans,”Mazmanyan said, adding that Mir TV has provided coverage of the Armenians' initiative in Moscow.
