Children and elderly moved from Kessab to Latakia

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 24, ARMENPRESS: Nothing disturbing thing happened in Kessab, though the children and elderly people were moved to Latakia to be safe. The Kessab Armenian Karo Manchikian told Armenpress about it, adding that the majority of the population is still in Kessab. According to him, two days ago they got news from a village, bordering Turkey, that on the Turkish border some actions were being observed.

“We have no precise information what actions are they. The population of the border villages have just moved to safer places”, - said Manchikian, at the same time adding that nobody can predict what will happen next. They should continue restoring Kessab.
