YEREVAN, AUGUST 13, ARMENPESS. Turkey continues to announce about the absence of intention to open the borders with Armenia on official level. As “Armenpress” reports, the Turkish President's top advisor for Foreign Policy Affairs, Ambassador Gurcan Turkoglu informed Azerbaijani “APA” news agency that rumors about opening Armenian-Turkish border in September are groundless.

Among other things, Gurcan Turkoglu underscored: “The road from Igdir till Alican customs post on the border with Armenia has been paved with asphalt not for the opening of the border, but for free movement of the people in the region.”
