Group of doctors from U.S. visits Gyumri

GYUMRI, JULY 21, ARMENPRESS. Within the framework of AAMM (Armenian-American Medical Mission) program, a doctors’ group from the USA is currently in Gyumri. The project, which was established in 2013, aims to develop such branches of medecine as laparoscopic, general and vascular surgeries, urology and others in Gyumri. Within the framework of the project, around 80 charitable surgeries were done only from May 8-18 in 2013 . Another charitable campaign this time will be held from July 21 to August 3. Within the framework of the project charitable surgeries, seminars for doctors and for paramedical staff will be held. Armenian and American doctors will work in “Medical Center” of Gyumri during this time. In fact 400 citizens have already registered for variety of medical specialists for medical examination in the center.
