Armenia and Georgia to deepen relations in fight against crime

YEREVAN, JULY 18, ARMENPRESS. The leadership of Armenia's Police is ready to support the colleagues of the neighboring country and develop relations for the benefit of the unified fight against crime. The first Deputy Chief of the Police of the Republic of Armenia, Police General-lieutenant Hunan Poghosyan stated this at the course of the meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia Tengiz Sharmanashvili.

The Department of Mass Media and Public Relations of the Police of the Republic of Armenia informed Armenpress that the Ambassador introduced to Hunanyan the newly appointed police attaché of the Internal Affairs Ministry of Georgia under the Embassy of Georgia to the Republic of Armenia Kamo Galustyan. The head of the staff of the Police, Police Major-General Vardan Yeghiazaryan participated in the meeting.
