Armenia’s President honors by his presence “Book” movie premiere

YEREVAN, JULY 14, ARMENPRESS The President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan honored by his presence Yerevan premier of “Book” movie by the Russian director, winner of “Nika” award Vitali Manski. The book inspired by Grigor Narekatsi’s “Matyan voxbergutyan ("Book of Lamentations") was first displayed on July 14 in Yerevan "Golden Apricot" 11th International Film Festival, within the framework of the project "Yerevan Premieres".

In a conversation with the journalists before the premiere of the movie, the director of the movie Vitali Manski stated that it is a story about a contemporary person who lives in our modern world.

“This movie is created by the inspiration of Grigor Narekatsi’s work. The hero of the movie is a collective image of an Armenian. It is not about Narekatsi. This movie required huge efforts. The interest towards IT is very great,” Vitali Manski stated Armenpress reports.
