Handmade bags of Berd women are known abroad

YEREVAN, JULY 3, ARMENPRESS. It’s nearly a month that the women of Berd town of Tavush region, along with handmade bears, present a new product. Now Berd women are making environmentally friendly handmade bags, which are in high demand within a short period of time. The women had 20 orders just the very first day of the sales. Each day the number of orders increases and the Armenian handmade bags are also known abroad.

In a conversation with “Armenpress” the Founding Director of "Berd Women's Resource Center" Fund Anahit Badalyan stressed that the bags are made ​​ not only from environmentally friendly raw materials, but are also very affordable not only for the tourists but for the locals, too.
