Film dedicated to Monte Melkonian will be shown in Sochi

YEREVAN, JULY 1, ARMENPRESS. The "National memory" organization in Sochi will held the screening of the film "Who is Monte" in Tuapse district of the city. The screening planned on July 2 is one of the patriotic activities carried out by that organization. As reports "Armenpress", referring to "Yerkramas" newspaper published in Russia, earlier, on June 24, the film was screened in another district of Sochi.

The original language of Edward Badounts’ fllm is Armenian, but thanks to the efforts of the organization it is translated into the Russian language. The Russian version of the film will soon be available on "Youtube" website.

The director of the film "Who is Monte" is Edward Badounts, who arrived in Armenia from the U.S. The film "Who is Monte" presents Monte's life story, his last journey, the sufferings of his wife. The film director tried to make clear why Monte came from America to his native country, Armenia, and participated in the liberation war.
