Legal-treaty field between Armenia and Austria is guarantee of safe business links: Armenia’s President

YEREVAN, JUNE 12, ARMENPRESS. The President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan and the President of the Republic of Austria Heinz Fischer, today, participated in the opening of the Armenian-Austrian Economic Forum at the Austrian Chamber of Commerce, and before that President Serzh Sargsyan met with the Chamber President Christoph Leitl. As “Armenpress” was informed from the Department of Public Relations and Mass Media of the President’s Staff, the interlocutors highlighted Armenian-Austrian trade-economic partnership and the need for further steps to enhance the cooperation, expressed confidence that in that sense, the Armenian-Austrian Economic Forum held in the frames of the visit of the President of Armenia, will have a great significance and will be useful to promote the contacts between the businessmen of the two countries and to develop the cooperation perspectives.

President Serzh Sargsyan and President of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce Christoph Leitl noted with satisfaction that the indices of the bilateral trade are gradually improving, however, according to them, trade and economic cooperation still needs serious promotion.

The Presidents of Armenia and Austria welcomed the Armenian-Austrian Economic Forum and in their opening speeches wished success to the activities of the Forum, for the benefit of the two countries' economic cooperation.
