This tourist season tours to Greece, Spain and Maldives are most demanded in Armenia

YEREVAN, JUNE 10, ARMENPRESS.Instead of Egypt, Dubai, Turkey and several other tourist destinations that were more demanded in the past, the Armenians have started to organize their holidays in Greece, Spain, the Maldives. This is stated by the travel agencies, where mostly those tour packages are sold that offer new and "exotic" vacation. Travel agents have their own answer to this question. They believe that the first stimulus for the expansion of these directions is the facilitation of tourist visas to the EU countries and also the change of air ticket prices, in connection with Armenia’s new policy in the field of aviation.

In her interview with “Armenpress”, Director of “Holiday tour” travel agency Armine Abrahamyan noted that the directions of Greece or Spain are not new, simply their demand has increased. "This year the tour packages are quite available, as decrease of air ticket prices has been observed. Besides, there are also new direct flights, and those going on a holiday do not have to go via Moscow. If last year the average price of the air tickets to the European countries was 450 euros, this year their average price is about 380 euros” - said Armine Abrahamyan. She noted that this season one of the most demanded and new destinations for the Armenians is the Maldive Islands.
