Charles Aznavour will present concert in Warsaw

YEREVAN, MAY 29, ARMENPRESS. The legendary French-Armenian singer Charles Aznavour will give a unique concert in Poland. As reports "Armenpress”, referring to the singer's official website, the singer, on June 23, will perform in the Warsaw Palace of Culture and Science (Pałac Kultury i Nauki). The concert tickets will be on sale soon.

The famous French-Armenian singer, chansonnier, composer, actor and public figure Charles Aznavour was born on May 22, 1924, in Paris. He is the author and performer of many well-known works. Over 100 million records of Aznavour’s songs have been sold. Since 2009, Charles Aznavour has been Armenia's Ambassador to Switzerland, as well as Armenia's permanent representative in the Geneva UN office and other international organizations.

This year the eminent chansonnier marks his 90th birthday anniversary, on the occasion of which festive celebrations will be held in different parts of the world. Different musicians will congratulate the legendary singer on this occasion.

This year Charles Aznavour is expected to perform in a number of countries around the world, including Armenia, what he already has done.
