YEREVAN, MAY 13, ARMENPRESS. In the name of the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, a state supper was held in honor of the President of France Francois Hollande on May 12 in the Presidential Residence.
The Public Relations and Mass media Department of the President’s Office informed “Armenpress” that according to the protocol, the Presidents of the two countries made toasts, touched upon the century old Armenian-French friendship and historical ties of the two friendly peoples, the current high level of interstate relations and the prospects of their development.
At the course of the reception held in honor of the French President, a festive cake was served in the presence of the Presidents of Armenia and France and a number of guests on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of renowned chansonnier Charles Aznavour, who also attended the reception.
