François Hollande to pay state visit to Armenia

YEREVAN, MAY 10, ARMENPRESS. Upon the invitation of the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, the President of France François Hollande will pay a two-day state visit to Armenia on May 12.

The Public Relations and Mass Media Department of the Armenian President’s Office informed “Armenpress” that it is considered that within the framework of the visit the Presidents of Armenia and France will hold a private conversation, which will be followed by the negotiations of the delegations in the extended format, after which documents aimed at the development and deepening of the cooperation between the two countries in a number of spheres will be signed. Serzh Sargsyan and François Hollande will sum up the results of the negotiations at the course of a joint press conference. The Presidents of Armenia and France will participate in the Armenian-French economic forum to be held in the frames of François Hollande’s visit.

Presidents Serzh Sargsyan and François Hollande will pay a visit to Tzitzernakaberd Memorial, where they will place a wreath by the monument to the Armenian Genocide victims and pay a tribute to the memory of the Genocide victims.

Also, the Presidents will attend the concert by prominent chansonnier Charles Aznavour, which will be held in Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex.
