Flowers gathered at Tsitsernakaberd Memorial to have second life

EREVAN, APRIL 26, ARMENPRESS. The flowers laid at the eternal fire at Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex will become cards and letters of acknowledgement and will be sent to various institutions abroad to remind once again of the greatest crime of the 20th century - the Armenian Genocide. The Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets, jointly with its General Partner "VivaCell-MTS" and the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute for the fifth time already on April 26 at Tsitsernakaberd Memorial carried out the recycling process of the gathered flowers. As “Armenpress” was informed from the foundation, within the frames of this activity all the flowers are carefully collected and transported to the back of the monument, their stems and petals are separated. This unique event was also attended by the U.S. Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern.
