YEREVAN, APRIL 25, ARMENPRESS. Italian artist Bruno Bruni has arrived in Armenia to introduce his works of different years. The retrospective exhibition of the artist’s works will be held in the National Gallery of Armenia on April 26 – June 2. On the occasion of the exhibition a catalogue of the artist’s works has been published in the Armenian, Russian, English, and Italian languages.
Born in Gradara, in the Province of Pesaro and Urbino in Italy, Bruno Bruni moved to Hamburg and enrolled at the HochschulefürbildendeKünste. In the 1970s, Bruno Bruni made a name for himself as a draftsman, lithographer, painter and sculptor in the international art world. In 1977, Bruno Bruni won the International Senefeld Competition for Lithography. Bruni’s art is influenced primarily by German expressionists like Otto Dix, George Grosz. and the Italian old masters. In particular, the Italian Artist is noted as one of the few lithographic artists "who paint all work directly onto the stone". Italian Construction Company Renco is the exclusive sponsor of the exhibition.
