Hovhannes Sahakyan reacts on Robert Kocharyan’s interview about Constitutional Reforms

YEREVAN, APRIL 22, ARMENPRESS. The viewpoint of the former President of the Republic of Armenia Robert Kocharyan upon the concept of Constitutional Reforms may become a subject of discussions in the broad discussions to be made in the near future upon the concept. The Secretary of the “Republican Party of Armenia” Faction of the National Assembly Hovhannes Sahakyan stated this in a conversation with Armenpress reacting on the statement of the second President of the Republic of Armenia. According to it, there is no need to hold constitutional reforms in Armenia this year. “When the President of the Republic of Armenia met the members of the Constitutional Reforms Committee, he noted at that time that he expects broad discussion upon the concept with different sectors of the society, political figures, and the view of the second President can be taken into consideration during the discussions by the Committee of the Constitutional Reforms, the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan,” Hovhannes Sahakyan said.
