Armenia's President sends letter of condolences to Barack Obama

YEREVAN, MARCH 27, ARMENPRESS. The President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan sent a letter of condolences to the President of the United States of America Barack Obama in connection with the destructive landslide occurred in the north-east of Washington State. The landslide left more than two dozens people dead while more than one hundred are missing. The Mass Media and Public Relations Department of the President’s Office informed “Armenpress” that Serzh Sargsyan expressed his deepest condolences to President Obama and the friendly people of the United States of America.

“We are following the process of the large-scale rescue measures undertaken by the US Government and we are sure that the measures will be crowned with success allowing the difficult situation to be overcome as fast as possible.”

“Sharing your and the friendly US people’s grief, I wish the relatives of the victims and the missing people, as well as the entire US people steadfastness and strong spirit,” reads the Armenian President’s letter of condolences.
