Head of Mets Masrik village awards Sargis Tananyan

GAVAR, JANUARY 31, ARMENPRESS. Today, the Head of Mets Masrik village Armen Asatryan awarded Senior Lieutenant; platoon Commander Sargis Tananyan with a certificate and a precious gift in Mets Masrik village community for throwing the Azerbaijani subversive group away on January 20, this year. The President of the Republic of Armenia also awarded Sargis Tananyn with “Courage medal” a few days ago.

In his speech the Head of the village stated in his speech that the residents of Mets Masrik experienced unparalleled pride on these days that this modest young man who lived and grew up beside them, displacing bravery and self-possession, courage and skillful tactics, not only organized throwing the enemy’s subversion away, but saved young lives of the servicemen, defended his mother lands from the enemy’s attack. After awarding Sargis Tamanyan with a special certificate, Armen Asatryan stated that the glorious soldier's family gets an important household gift –a precious fridge.
