Armenia's President to pay state visit to Czech Rep.

YEREVAN, JANUARY 29, ARMENPRESS. The President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan will pay a state visit to the Czech Republic today upon the invitation of the President of the Czech Republic Miloš Zeman. The Mass Media and Public Relations Department of the President’s Office informed “Armenpress” that Serzh Sargsyan will have a meeting with President Zeman in Prague. The private conversation of the Presidents of the two countries will be followed by expanded negotiations, after which it is considered to hold the ceremony of signing of bilateral documents aimed at the development and expansion of cooperation in a row of spheres. The President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan and the President of the Czech Republic Miloš Zeman will give a joint press conference regarding the results of the negotiations. Also, the Armenian and Czech President will participate in the Armenian-Czech business forum.

Within the framework of the state visit, President Serzh Sargsyan will have meetings with the President of the Senate of the Czech Republic Milan Štěch, the Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka, the Chairman of the Czech Chamber of Deputies Jan Hamacek, the Mayor of Prague Tomas Hudecek, and the spiritual leader of the Czech Republic, Cardinal-Archbishop of Prague Dominik Duka.

The President will have a meeting with the representatives of the Armenian Community of the Czech Republic as well.
