Armenian killed in Aleppo bombing

YEREVAN, JANUARY 22, ARMENPRESS: An Armenian was killed in the result of the bombing in Aleppo on January 21. Our source from Aleppo informed Armenpress about it, stating that the Armenian was Asatur Tigranyan, born in 1960. The incident took place in the Armenian district of Jdeideh.

Concerning the general situation in the city, the source informed that on January 21 after the noon explosions were blown in the Armenian-populated Aleppo. The blasts and gunshots were not far from the Armenian districts. The source also reported that the major part of the city is again in darkness. Today, on January 22, the electricity was restored for only an hour. The Facebook page of the Primacy News informed in its turn that it has been for four days there is no electricity in Aleppo and the city is in darkness.

In the course of the three years of the Syrian conflict, 120,000 people died, including more than 70 Armenians.
