Pope's sister hospitalized

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 28, ARMENPRESS. Sister of Pope Francis María Elena Bergoglio remains hospitalizad in a Buenos Aires City clinic since December 20 receiving medical treatment for a urinary infection.

As reports “Armenpress” citing Buenos Aires Herald, 66-year-old María Elena is at the Británico Hospital located in the neighborhood of Constitución with medical reports saying her prognosis is "stable.”

“María Elena Bergoglio was admitted into this inistitution on December 20 following an urinary infection condiction. She is completing studies, undergoing specific medical treatment and remains clinically stable,” the official report issued by the center says while a spokesman added that the pope’s sister suffers “no serious” condition and that she might be discharged in the upcoming days.

So far there has been no official information that the ex Argentine cardinal and now Pope Francis Jorge Bergoglio will be arriving in Argentina to meet his sister.
