Catholicos of All Armenians attends the funeral ceremony of Pope Francis

The final farewell and funeral ceremony for the Holy Father of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis, was held on April 26 in St. Peter's Square in Vatican City, the Mother See of Holy Etchmiatsin said in a statement.
A Holy Liturgy was celebrated during the funeral service, during which the heads and representatives of various Churches offered prayers for the repose of the soul of Pope Francis.
In St. Peter's Basilica, His Holiness Garegin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, offered a private prayer for the repose of Pope Francis' soul.
Catholicos Garegin II was accompanied by His Eminence Archbishop Khajag Parsamyan, Pontifical Delegate of Western Europe and representative of the Catholicos of All Armenians to the Vatican; Archbishop Arshak Khachatryan, Chancellor of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin; Bishop Mushegh Babayan, Director of the Administrative Department of the Mother See; and Reverend Father Garegin Hambardzumyan, Director of the Inter-Church Relations Department.
