Armenia's President hosts children of veterans of Artsakh liberation war

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 24, ARMENPRESS. On the occasion of New Year and Holly Christmas, President Serzh Sargsyan and First Lady Rita Sargsyan at the Presidential Palace hostedchildren and grandchildren of the deceased and disabled veterans of Artsakh liberation war and servicemen on December 24. Happy characters from tale, entertainers, as well as the symbols of New Year Santa Claus and Snow Maiden provided joyful time at the course of the festive events. During the reception Mrs. Rita Sargsyan welcomed the children and expressed her good wishes. In attendance of Mrs. Rita Sargsyan, the magnificent Christmas tree was lit upat the Presidential Palace.

“Dear Santa Claus, children, I congratulate you on the occasion of New Year, wishing you good health and happy childhood. Mainly Santa Claus creates miracles, but you also can, for that you should study well,” First Lady noted joking that Santa Claus also studied well, “Armenpress” reports.

Officer of military-patriotic education and public relations of the Defense Ministry of the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh, captain Nune Abaghyan stated that children of 20 servicemen of the Defense Army of the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh participate in these festive events.
