Armenia’s President sends congratulatory message on NSS employee day

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 20, ARMENPRESS. The President of the Republic f Armenia Serzh Sargsyan has sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of the Day of National Security officers. “Armenpress” was informed from the Department for Mass Media and Public Relations of the President’s staff of the Republic of Armenia that the message runs as follows:

“Respectful employees of National Security bodies of Armenia,

I warmly congratulate you and veterans of the system on the professional holiday.

The previous year was Jubilee for national security bodies. 95 years ago after the proclamation of the first Republic of Armenia intelligence and counterintelligence bodies were established.

For decades, security bodies have undergone serious ordeals, burn in visible and invisible fronts, have shaped traditions and accumulated invaluable experience. Great is your contribution to the neutralization of the threats against our state and society.

Today there are all prerequisites for your professional progress and improvement in your job. I am sure that you will continue your mission with honor and professional versatile capacities. Realities and challenges of the modern world and our region must have adequate reaction.
