Levon Aronyan is unbeatable on first board in World Team Championship

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 5, ARMENPRESS. The leader of the Armenian men’s chess team Levon Aronyan was unbeatable on the first board in World Team Championship. Gaining 6 points after 8 rounds, Levon Aronyan won a gold medal.

“Armenpress” reports that World Team Chess Championship was held in Antalya city of Turkey today: the Russian team was declared a champion. Our team was only in the 5th place.

Levon Aronyan is in the 2nd place of FIDE ranking.
