Armenian wounded in Damascus

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 14, ARMENPRESS: An Armenian got wounded in the result of the bomb explosion in Bab Tuma, the Christian District of Damascus, on November 13. Our compatriot living in Damascus Nazareth Elmajyan informed Armenpress about it, adding that the wounded is Simon Telyan. Fortunately, his life is out of danger and the condition is stable. Besides, Elmajyan informed that three bombs fell on the Paros College, located nearby the Armenian Catholic Church.

Nazareth Elmajyan noted that the state of the schoolboy, wounded in the result of the bombing the Holy TranslatorsArmenian National School bus, is stable and out of danger.

On November 11 at 13:30 four rockets fell nearby the Holy TranslatorsArmenian National School. The incident happened when the schoolchildren were coming out of the school. Five people died in the result of the bombing. One of the victims was the 6-year-old Armenian Hovhannes Atokamyan, the others were Arabs. Three of them are children and the fourth is the driver of the bus. Ten injured children were moved to hospital in the result of the bombing. The accident emerged fear and horror among the schoolchildren, at the same time shocking the entire Syrian Armenian community.
