Bomb falls on Armenian school bus in Damascus

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 11, ARMENPRESS. A bomb fell on a bus belonging to the Armenian school in the Christian neighborhood of Bab Shark Damascus on November 11. Our compatriot Nazaret Elmajian residing in Damascus informed it in a conversation with “Armenpress” adding that the alumnus fell on the bus of the Holy TranslatorsArmenian National School, which was carrying pupils. According to the preliminary information, one person died and ten pupils were wounded in the result of the fall of the bomb. Elmajian stated that the identity of the sufferers is not clear yet. She also added that the majority of pupils studying at school are Armenians; the Arabs form a tiny percent. Another bomb fell on the Arabic orthodox school in the region of Kassa, which resulted eight wounded people.

According to official information, more than 120 people became victims of the Syrian conflict, including several dozen Armenians.
