Armenia’s President receives Co-Chair of Armenia-EU Parliamentary Cooperation Commission

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 30, ARMENPRESS. Today the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received Co-Chair of Armenia-EU Parliamentary Cooperation Commission Milan Tsabrnokh. The interlocutors held a discussion related to the issues of the agenda of the cooperation between Armenia-European Union. Armenpress was informed form the Department for Mass Media and Public Relations of the President’s office of the Republic of Armenia that Serzh Sargsyan highlighted that the active dialogue and contacts with the partners of the European community conduct positive charges to the Republic of Armenia on the way euro-copulation. The president Serzh Sargsyan also pointed out that our country is determined to continue the institutional reforms that form the axis of EU-Armenia relations. The President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan added that our country is committed to building a modern competitive state based on the European values, looking forward the support of the partners.

Co-Chair of Armenia-EU Parliamentary Cooperation Commission Milan Tsabrnokh pointed out that European Union regards the Republic of Armenia as an important country within the frames of Eastern partnership and is ready to continue support and cooperation towards the development of human rights and democratic processes, fortificationoflaw superiority. Milan Tsabrnokh stressed the importance of the further active work of the parliamentary cooperation between Armenia-EU in the activity of developing dialogue with the Republic of Armenia.
