Adam Roczek highly appreciates achievements of Armenian university sports

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 23, ARMENPRESS. The Chairman of the European University Sports Association Adam Roczek is actively engaged in the cooperation with the Armenian University Sports Federation. “Armenpress” News Agency introduces an exclusive interview with Adam Roczek regarding this and many other issues.

- Mr. Roczek, what is Your assessment of the current state of the university sports of Armenia?

- In my opinion 2013 was the best year for the university sports of Armenia. The athletes of a small country like Armenia won 1 golden, 5 silver, and 4 bronze medals at the 27th Summer Universiade in Kazan. This is a really impressive result for your country. We just want You to develop Your success. It’s also noteworthy that Armenia is the youngest member of our association and we are actively cooperating with our Armenian partners.

- What are the main problems the university sports have to face with?

- First of all I would like to highlight the independence of the university sports. Nobody can interfere the university sports issues. But there is the opposite side as well.
