Armenia to deepen cooperation with Europe in field of broadcasting

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 16, ARMENPRESS. Armenia makes its standards closer to that of Europe in the field of broadcasting TV programs borrowing the best experience. One of the striking examples is that the delegation of the National Commission on Television and Radio of the Republic of Armenia headed by the chairman of Armenia's National Commission on Television and RadioGagik Buniatyan, participated in the 38th meeting of European Platform of Regulatory Authorities which was held in Vilnius on October 2-4. The chairman in the interview with the journalist of Armenpress News Agency, summarizing the results of the participation of the Armenian delegation in the meeting, pointed out that representatives of 43 member countries of the European Platform of Regulatory Authorities regulating the field of broadcasting, European Union, European Council, European Audiovisual Observation ,OSCE and representatives of other organizations participated in the meeting. "Our basic issue is the provision of the appropriate development of the modern standards of broadcasting in the field of media ," pointed out Buniatyan.
