Orientalists appeal to support Syrian Armenians

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 3, ARMENPRESS: 40-60,000 Syrian Armenians have faced quite a difficult situation. According to the Arabic expert, all the state, religious, political and party structures should account for the safety of the Syrian Armenians. “I do not know how they should be evacuated. Maybe by the Russian ships. There is no other way”, - she said.

The orientalist Suren Manukyan in his turn noted that the attack towards Syria will affect Lebanon as well. In case of the military intervention in Syria, Armenia should be ready to accept not only the Syrian Armenian, but also the Lebanese Armenian refugees.
