- Mister Rembach are you in Armenia for the first time. Have you already managed to get acquainted with our rich cultural heritage?

Yes, I am in Armenia for the first time and I am very glad that unlike many participants did not arrive in Armenia today but came yesterday. It was an opportunity for me to see Yerevan nights and it enraptured me greatly. I hope that in future I will be here not on working visit but in order to spend my vacations here. People are great, they always smile, girls are very beautiful and the food is tasty.

- Did you take part in coordinators’ conference of “European heritage days” in other countries?

For already four years I am the coordinator from Poland and in past I visited Turkey. Last year we organized the conference in Poland. This year we are in Armenia.

- There is a big Armenian community in Poland. Have you ever taken part in events organized by Armenians?

The father of friend is Armenian and he is a very friendly, hospitable person. I know many Armenians. I have been told that in past my father had black hair and looked like Armenian. Representatives of different countries organize festive vents in Poland but I did nit manage to take part in one organized by Armenians. But now I know about Armenians and hope to take part in such an event in coming future.

- Do you see similarities between Armenian and Polish cultures?

I think both countries have interesting history and similarities. Polish people are very friendly and hospitable. When I think about traditions and dishes of tow countries I notice that they are different. The architecture is also quite different but the trees are the same (smiles). We are located very far from each other but have many similarities. It is very important.

- Dialogue between cultures is also important.

Yes, I stress the importance of dialogue between different cultures. It is in our blood to love representatives of other nations. The differences in cultures are huge but there are many similarities and it is very important. We should not forget about it and should respect each other.
