Armenia’s Defense Ministry doesn’t confirm news on death of 5 Azerbaijani soldiers: Artsrun Hovhannisyan

YEREVAN, AUGUST 12, ARMENPRESS: The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia does not confirm the news on death of five soldiers on the Azerbaijani side. This was reported to Armenpress by the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Artsrun Hovhannisyan, stating that this should be confirmed by Azerbaijan.

The Armenian media spread news, according to which during the previous week on the Armenian-Azerbaijani line of contact the Azerbaijanis’ activity was suppressed by the Armenian troops, in the result of which five Azerbaijani soldiers have been killed.

During the last week because of the violation of the ceasefire regime by the Azerbaijani side four Armenian soldiers were wounded. The Head of the Press Service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan noted that there are losses and wounded from the Azerbaijani side as well without giving details on their precise number.
