Armenia's PM pays a visit to Arzni Health Resort

YEREVAN, AUGUST 3, ARMENPRESS. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan paid a visit to "Arzni" Health Resort, which was reconstructed in accordance with the decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia to promote the development of small and medium enterprises. The reconstruction works launched due to the funds provided by "SME Investments" Universal Credit Organization CJSC.

The Information and Public Relations Department of the Government of the Republic of Armenia informed "Armenpress" that at the course of the visit the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan had been in the building of the health resort and got acquainted with the conditions and options necessary for organizing rest and treatment. Also the Prime Minister got acquainted with the investment and construction activities realized due to the credit funds.

The main therapeutic factors of Arzni are the bicarbonate-chloride-hydrocarbonate-sodium water, and the climate of the mountainous areas with low barometric pressure. Mineral water Arzni, which contains large amounts of carbon dioxide (1.25-2.0 g/l) and minerals (8-10 g/l), are a major factor of effective treatment. The climate of Arzni is continental: mild winters (average temperature in January is -5°C), pleasantly cool summers (average temperature in July is 22°C) and long and warm autumns. The number of sunny days in a year makes 2236 hours. With this parameter, Arzni exceeds all other resorts of the Caucasus.
