Doing Business: Businesswoman develops hotel business in Armavir

The small-to-medium business is of a certain importance for the steadfast economic growth of a country, as it gives innovational impulses to the economy. This time the project is dedicated to the story of a businesswoman Christine Antonyan, who develops the hotel business and advices the newcomers to develop right approaches for their businesses.
YEREVAN, JULY 4, ARMENPRESS: The hotel business plays quite an important role in the development of tourism in the Republic of Armenia. In different places of interest there is a lack of hotels and motels, which make the tourists refuse to travel to the remote marzes of the Republic.
Before establishing a hotel and a restaurant in Armavir, the 37-year-old Christine Antonyan had a beauty salon. She united the services of the beauty salon, the restaurant, the cafe and the hotel under one floor.
The hotel has functioned since 2008. At first Christine Antonyan prepared the food herself and then, when the business developed, she invited cooks. She is certain that it is quite difficult to develop business in Armenia, especially if it is in the marzes.
As an experienced businesswoman, Christine Antonyan advices the newcomers to develop right approaches for their businesses. Saying right approaches, Christine means a preliminary study of the field of interest, the research of the inner kitchen and awareness of the market state.
