Armenia's PM met with Armenian representatives of "Ernest and Young" global organization

YEREVAN, JUNE 29, ARMENPRESS. In the National Library of Armenia the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan had a meeting with the Armenian high-rank representatives of "Ernest and Young" global organization providing audit and counseling services.

The department of information and public relations of the Government of the Republic of Armenia informed "Armenpress" that the head of the Government warmly greeted the participants of the meeting and thoroughly introduced the economic state and system of Armenia, reflected upon the problems our country has to face with, the reforms realized in tax, customs and other fields s well.

Ernst & Young (EY) is one of the largest professional service firms in the world and one of the "Big Four" accounting firms, along with Deloitte, KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).

Ernst & Young is a global organization of member firms with 167,000 employees in more than 140 countries, and has 700+ office locations. Ernst & Young is headquartered in London, England. It was ranked by Forbes magazine as the eighth-largest private company in the United States in 2011.

Since opening an office in Moscow in 1989, Ernst & Young’s presence in the Commonwealth of Independent States has expanded as demand for the company services has continued to grow. There are now over 3,500 professionals working in 17 Ernst & Young offices across the CIS.

Ernst & Young reopened in Armenia in October 2008. Since then, the fast-growing office in Yerevan has been providing assurance and advisory services to local and international clients working in the country. In 2010, Ernst & Young launched tax and transaction advisory services in Armenia.
