Vic Darchinyan wants to defeat Nonito Donaire and again become world champion

- Vic again welcome to Armenia, which are your coming plans?

- First of all I am glad to inform you that I am intended to continue my professional career and have signed new contract with one of the leading promoters – American Bob Arum.

- Is the name of your coming opponent known?

- Yes, and you know his name very well too.

- Nonito Donaire?

- Yes, Nonito Donaire from Philippines about rematch with whom I have dreamed for a long time. This time he agreed and our match will probably take place in October-September.

I would like to mention that I will perform in a new 55.8 kg discipline for me. I want very much not only to be world champion once more but to do it in a new weight.

People have got used to your victories and they cannot adapt to idea that you are not a world champion.

- I want very much to fill that gap.

Is it possible that one of your future matches again takes place in Yerevan?

-Of course it is possible and I seek for it very much but the main problem for me lately was signing the contract and I did not have time to think about other issues. It is connected with great amounts of money. It will be beneficial for Armenian sports.

Do you still want to open sports school in Armenia?

-Of course, I hope that it will receive support in Armenia, it is a serious work and will be beneficial for our boxing.

- It happened so that you simultaneously live in three continents.

- Yes, it is true. Armenia is my home. I live in Australia and in USA hold my matches. In Australia Armenians contact with each other very often. I always feel the support of Armenians in Australia, USA and in other countries but first of all in Armenia.
