Chief of General Staff of Armenia’s Armed Forces Yuri Khachaturov-headed delegation left for Italy

YEREVAN, JUNE 17, ARMENPRESS: By the invitation of the Chief of the DefenseGeneral Staff of the Italian Republic, the Admiral Luigi Binelli Mantelli, the delegation, headed by the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia Yuri Khachaturov, left for Italy on June 16 on a three-day official visit. As Armenpress was reported by the Department for Mass Media and Public Relations of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, during the visit the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia will meet with the Chief of the DefenseGeneral Staff of the Italian Republic and other high ranking representatives of the Armed Forces of Italy.

During the meetings the interlocutors will discuss the issues related to the expansion of the cooperation between the Ministries of Defense of the two countries, as well as the activities of the Armenian peacekeepers under the auspices of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon under the Italian command.
