YEREVAN, JUNE 14, ARMENPRESS. Anti-Armenian hysteria springs in Georgia after Armenia, along with 14 other countries, has cast its vote against the resolution put forward by Georgia at the 67th session of the UN General Assembly. As reports "Armenpress" expert on Georgian issues Johnny Melikyan stated this at the course of the press conference held on June 14. He also underscored that anti-Armenian notes spread in facebook certain groups and some Georgian NGOs even voiced anti-Armenian calls. Among other things Johnny Melikyan highlighted: "Previously, Armenia's representative to the UN Karen Nazaryan stated that moving issues to the UN from the OSCE may hinder the procedures aimed at the settlement of conflicts and that's why Armenia voted against it. He had stated long ago that Armenia does not want to take the negotiations to a different format. Notwithstanding the Georgian side continues accusations against Armenia."

A resolution "On Internally Displaced Persons and Refugees from Abkhazia, Georgia and the Tskhinvali region/South Ossetia, Georgia" was put to vote at the 67th session of the UN General Assembly, which launched on June 13.
